We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our tight-knit Telco Team. You must have a talent for solving complex problems, and testing new solutions; while being equally talented at understanding and supporting a complex business-critical SaaS system in production. You must love creating elegant test solutions that can satisfy the functional, performance, scale and availability expectations of the RingCentral platform.
Responsibilities
Work as a part of an Agile team with other QA and Software Engineers;
Help the team in modernizing software architecture and bringing it to the public cloud;
Analyze product requirements for RC VoIP, PBX and Call Center services;
Create and maintain test cases and test plans to ensure product quality;
Execute testing of new and existing functionality VoIP Telephony;
Analyze test results and provide product quality reports;
Troubleshoot and investigate product issues, identify root causes, and assist developers in fixing defects;
Participate in test automation using Python and RC proprietary test framework.
Qualifications & Skills
BA in Computer Science or related technical field;
5+ years of demonstrated QA experience;
Good understanding of Networking and TCP/UDP protocols troubleshooting;
Good understanding of Cloud technologies;
Good understanding of Agile;
Experience as a Linux user;
Experience with Python scripting;
Experience with VoIP Telephony (SIP, RTP/RTCP, etc) is a plus.
